“Helinika” is the name given to the cross-media platform (website, YouTube channel, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook page) that provides free informative, educational, and entertaining content on subjects that include but are not limited to the Greek language, history, and culture. The cross-media platform is also used to promote digital and physical media products provided by the media owner, such as books and online on-demand language courses.

Disclaimer: Errors may occur in the process of creating and delivering content. Visitors are encouraged to contact Helinika’s media owner if any errors and mistakes are detected. The content provided by Helinika is copyrighted. All rights are reserved. Unless used for commercial purposes, reproduction is allowed on the condition that the source is indicated and linked (when possible). Reproduction for commercial uses requires approval. The logos and design are the intellectual property of Helinika’s media owner, Maria-Eleni Perpiraki. The website includes articles submitted by guest writers. In this case, the copyright remains to the guest writer and it is not transferred to Helinika’s media owner. However, the writer is expected to inform Helinika for any planned submissions of their published articles to third parties. Helinika does not hold any responsibility if a guest author breaches the copyright (or other) law.

Data protection: Helinika is using the simplified analytics tool to process the data of its visitors called “Jetpack Stats”, which is committed to operating in accordance with the GDPR. Helinika also processes guest writer submissions. Rejected applications are not stored in our database. Helinika does not forward personal information of guest writers to 3rd parties, with the exception of requests related to copyright claims.
